The New Orleans Saints officially signed first-round draft selection Jordyn Tyson to a four-year rookie contract on Friday.
Tyson, chosen eighth overall in the 2026 NFL Draft, will earn a fully guaranteed $32.5 million, which includes a $20.1 million signing bonus. The agreement also contains a fifth-year team option for the wide receiver out of Arizona State.
Despite missing three games due to a hamstring injury last season, Tyson earned third-team All-American honors for the second consecutive year. He recorded 61 receptions for 711 yards and eight touchdowns, with four 100-yard performances and two games of 10 or more catches.
In 2024, the Sun Devils standout hauled in 75 passes for 1,101 yards and 10 scores across 12 games before missing the final two contests with a broken collarbone—the latter being a College Football Playoff loss to Texas.
The Allen, Texas, native accumulated 136 catches for 1,812 yards and 18 touchdowns over 24 games during his tenure with Arizona State.
Tyson began his college career at Colorado in 2022, where he posted 22 receptions for 470 yards and four touchdowns in nine games before suffering a major season-ending knee injury. That injury led him to redshirt at Arizona State in 2023.
He is the younger brother of Jaylon Tyson, a 2024 NBA first-round pick selected 20th overall by the Cleveland Cavaliers.
