Benfica, the women’s national champions, completed the 2025/26 league season without a single loss, defeating Rio Ave 1-0. The result saw the Eagles reach 48 points, with 15 wins and three draws, while confirming Rio Ave’s place in the play-off. Marítimo also secured a spot in the relegation/promotion play-off.
With Damaiense already relegated before the final round, and Sporting and Torreense locking in second and third places (and Champions League qualifying spots), the 18th round also confirmed Racing Power’s survival after a goalless draw away to Sporting.
In other matches, Valadares Gaia beat Marítimo 1-0 away, Torreense defeated Damaiense 3-1, and Sporting de Braga triumphed 2-0 over Vitória.
Rio Ave will now face Clube de Albergaria, while Marítimo takes on Gil Vicente in the play-off for a place in next season’s top flight. The play-off opponents come from the 2nd Division Women’s National Championship. Clube de Albergaria, who finished third in the second division, claimed the first promotion spot and will face Marítimo. Gil Vicente, in fourth, will play Rio Ave. Benfica B finished second in the second division’s promotion stage but are ineligible for promotion.
The first leg of the play-off is scheduled for the 24th, with the Liga teams playing at home, while the second leg will take place on the 30th.
