Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick outlined the team’s objective for the remainder of the 2025/2026 season following a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in La Liga’s 35th round. The Catalan giants scored early through Marcus Rashford (9′) and Ferran Torres (18′) to secure the win.
“We had many injuries and a lot happened. I thought the second year would be harder, but we have been at a fantastic level. We haven’t scored many goals, but we have improved defensively, especially at the end of the season. Seeing so many young players is incredible. We have three matches left, and we want to reach 100 points,” Flick told Marca.
With this result, Barcelona clinched the Spanish league title early. They currently top the La Liga table with 91 points, while Real Madrid sit in second place with 77 points. Three rounds remain in the championship.
